The Nittany Valley Running Club's 2015 Indoor Mile Series was another success this year. Though attendance was down a little from 2014's record season, participation was very good, and a Series record was set in the Series finale, the 3000 meter run, when Lauren Philbrook became the first woman to crack the 10 minute mark in Series history. Great match-ups, continuing rivalries, and Club records have been the norm at these races. The Indoor Mile series are held in conjunction with four Penn State Indoor Track Meets. The Indoor Miles are the first event at each of the meets, which are held at the Horace Ashenfelter III Multi-Sport Facility. The Series is open to all members of the Nittany Valley Running Club except students high school age or younger (due to NCAA recruiting rules). To become a member, go to can sign also up for NVRC membership at each meet. Bring the membership form.

The Indoor Mile Series Is free. The Club will make a donation to the PSU Track and Field Booster Club. If you'd like to add to that donation, bring a few dollars.
