Description:

Note: This course was precisely measured. Map distances shown at the MapMyRun.com links are approximate, but close to these precise measurements.

Note: This is the course used in most recent years for the Arts Fest 5K. Some years, due to University road construction, a different course may have to be used. In those years, that course is linked on the Arts Fest race pages.

Start on Porter Rd. just south of the crest of the hill between
Curtin Rd. and Park Ave. Head west on Curtin. Take Curtin to Burrowes Rd. Turn left on Burrowes and run down the hill. A block down from Curtin, take the left on Pollack Rd. Continue on Pollock for about half a mile. The water stop for the 5K is at the corner of Pollock and Shortlidge Roads. At Shortlidge Rd, make left and climb the hill to Curtin Rd. Make a right on Curtin and continue down Curtin Rd for the long, relatively flat run to the finish just before Curtin ends at Porter Rd.

Water Stops: There is one water stop in the 5K, at 1.1 miles.
