When Tom Cali and Dave Eggler first
proposed the idea of a New Year's
Eve race three years ago, they expected about 75 runners. This
year
320 runners registered for and 298 finished the First Night State
College
5K. Runners and spectators enjoyed this last race of the
millenium
through downtown State College and the Penn State campus on what was,
for
December 31, a warm and delightful evening.
