It was Springlike, mild and sunny with temperatures in the mid 40s, as John Domico, Tom Cali, Jim Myers, John Sheakoski, Lance Bland, Marty Klanchar, Greg Dillon, Shawn Kelly, Tom Hilands, Mark Fedkin, Frank Zaffino, Nick Downs, Greg Luna, Paul Lammert, Michael Goldfine, Jamie Volkert, John Wilcock, Lee Culver, Dana Todd, Ann Skulas-Ray, Jessica Charles, and Marty Mazur headed for the outdoor. Ken Davis showed up late and did a short workout.

We needed a lot of fortitude to get through this Winter, so Bwana decided to see how much was left. Today's was the Fortitude Workout: 4X(400-200) with low recovery between the 400 and the 200 of each set. I really think people missed this workout. But now that Winter is pretty much done, we'll be seeing more of this kind of thing. Bwana is risking jinxing Spring. In fact, he's doing an endzone dance after sprinting past the panting remains of Winter's defensive line, spiking the ball and everything. And how can Spring not be here? Bwana's wife saw the first groundhog out and about after its Winter slumber.

A few people are dealing with the remains of Winter. Tara Murray's excuse is a bad cold. Either that or she's snake charming again. Stephanie Serriere is looking forlornly at her cross-country skis, hanging up in her shed until next year. Julie Grubb was deciding whether to take that last snowball of Winter out of the freezer and mix up some margaritas. Bob Jones thinks it's still Winter and is circling the Rec Hall track. And Costas Maranas is stuck on the golf course, terrified to run over the last little dirty pile of snow!
