We’ve got a couple of weeks off between last weekend’s Arts Fest races and the Herbie’s Home Town Loop in Bellefonte on August 5. Time for a nice, relaxing run in the woods. Marty Mazur will lead a group run in Spring Creek Canyon on Saturday morning, July 22, starting at 8 AM. This time we’ll start at the Rock Road parking lot. The plan is to run 6 or so miles at an easy (10-ish min/mile) pace. The run will be out and back, so those wanting to go longer can turn back further on down the trail. If you want to run shorter, just turn back earlier. The creekside trail in the canyon is relatively flat and easy. The scenery is always great. Meet Marty at the Rock Rd lot at 8 AM. Call or text him at 814 360 9967 if you’re running late. The Rock Rd lot is at 1025 Rock Rd. That’s on the east side of Rock Rd as it heads up the hill to the airport.
