IF I COULD WRITE MY OWN EPITAPH:
I STARTED RUNNING (WHEN, WHERE, HOW...): Spring of 2001, First race was
the Boalsburg Memorial Day Run, our maintenance man at our office is a
runner and got me started running.
AVERAGE MILES PER WEEK: 30-35 miles
A TYPICAL TRAINING WEEK: Running at least 5 or 6 miles during the week
and then running at least 10 - 12 miles for a long run on the
weekends.
PREFERRED RACE OR RACING DISTANCE: I like them all 5K's, 10K's,
Half-Marathons
NUMBER OF RACES PER YEAR: 20
A GOOD 10K TIME FOR ME WOULD BE: 59:59 was my best 10K time at
Belleville
WHY I RUN: To release stress, stay healthy and have fun with my running
buddies.
PEOPLE MIGHT BE SURPRISED TO LEARN THAT: In my younger years I used to
drag race down at Beaver Springs Raceway with my now husband. And I
really like to sing a lot when I'm alone in my car.
