I STARTED RUNNING (WHEN, WHERE, HOW...): High School 1961, Lansing, Mich. I got tired of get whipped ( Fight or Flight)
AVERAGE MILES PER WEEK: 27 to 50 in the summer.
A TYPICAL TRAINING WEEK: Winter time, just long runs indoors; March to November out doors track work and distance runs.
PREFERRED RACE OR RACING DISTANCE: 5K up to half Marathon.
NUMBER OF RACES PER YEAR: to 15 a year.
A GOOD 10K TIME FOR ME WOULD BE: 45:00 mins. now
WHY I RUN: I can do anything else well, I really love to run.
PEOPLE MIGHT BE SURPRISED TO LEARN THAT: I never went to college, and I
have been coaching for 30 years without going to college for it. I have
had great teachers.
