NAME: Robin Riglin
E-MAIL ADDRESS: shepherd@csrlink.net

BIRTH-DATE: 7/11/68
HOMETOWN (ORIGINALLY): Born in Chicago, went to high school in State College
WHERE I LIVE NOW: Philipsburg (Black Moshannon area)
WHAT I DO IN LIFE AS WE KNOW IT: Contracts Specialist in PSU's Office of Sponsored Programs
NON-RUNNING HOBBIES OR INTERESTS: Spending time with my baby daughter, my husband and stepkids, reading, going to movies, mountain biking and hiking
A FAVORITE BOOK, MOVIE, TV OR RADIO SHOW: Books: too many to mention. Prefer novels. A few recent favorites include "Snow Falling on Cedars" and "Stones from the River."  Movies: Also too many to mention, but "Life is Beautiful," "Rain Man," and "Some Like it Hot" just popped into my head.  TV: Currently watch "ER," "Friends," "Judging Amy," "Will and Grace" and "The Practice."
NICKNAME (AND WHY): Rockin'- my husband calls me this.  Short for Rockin' Robin.  Original, huh?
IF I COULD WRITE MY OWN EPITAPH: Loving wife, mother, grandmother, greatgrandmother,  great-greatgrandmother, etc.
I STARTED RUNNING (WHEN, WHERE, HOW...): 9th grade cross-country for Mr. Gentry at State High.  Track and X-C were my life in high school.
AVERAGE MILES PER WEEK: 20-25 now.
A TYPICAL TRAINING WEEK: 5-7 days a week, run pushing my daughter in her babyjogger for 45 minutes, unless she starts screaming, in which case I walk home carrying her and pushing an empty babyjogger, then I hold her while I
ride my exercise bike.  A few days per week my husband or somebody is able to watch her while I go running, on which occasions I try to push myself to the max, still usually not more than 45 min. or so.
PREFERRED RACE OR RACING DISTANCE: Sad to say, 5K.  (I used to love longer distances, but no longer have the time to adequately train for them).
NUMBER OF RACES PER YEAR: Not many now!  Maybe 2 or 3
A GOOD 10K TIME FOR ME WOULD BE: 46 minutes
WHY I RUN: It's part of who I am.
PEOPLE MIGHT BE SURPRISED TO LEARN THAT: I was a lawyer in a previous (less-happy) life.
