IF I COULD WRITE MY OWN EPITAPH: run like an antelope out of control
I STARTED RUNNING (WHEN, WHERE, HOW...): in middle school I ran the
mile for our fitness test; I think I ran it in 7 minutes and my gym
teacher said that if I didn't join the track team he'd fail me!
AVERAGE MILES PER WEEK: 100+
A TYPICAL TRAINING WEEK: run longer (and slower) each day. 20+ on
weekends.
PREFERRED RACE OR RACING DISTANCE: 50 miles or more
NUMBER OF RACES PER YEAR: 12-15
A GOOD 10K TIME FOR ME WOULD BE: 40 minutes
WHY I RUN: to keep my sanity, or loose it as some might say.
PEOPLE MIGHT BE SURPRISED TO LEARN THAT: I was a scrawny little kid in
school.
