NICKNAME (AND WHY): min/minnie (my initials) (middle name Irene)
IF I COULD WRITE MY OWN EPITAPH: she must have been adopted....
I STARTED RUNNING (WHEN, WHERE, HOW...): freshman year high school
because
I'd pulled my hamstring playing field hockey and my doc said I couldn't
play
high school soccer and travel team soccer at the same time; hated track
and
cried the whole first week; ran a bit in college and still hated it; ran
NYC
marathon my senior year, got hospitalized, but announced to the world
I
loved running -- finally

between
A GOOD 10K TIME FOR ME WOULD BE: under 40?
WHY I RUN: beer and ice cream
PEOPLE MIGHT BE SURPRISED TO LEARN THAT: I have a four-leaf clover tattoo
on
my left ankle because I, my grandmother, and my great-grandmother find
them
all the time (I found two yesterday on campus); I had a British accent as
a
kid (I really must have been adopted!); you'll have to go on a long run
with
me to find out the rest....
