I STARTED RUNNING (WHEN, WHERE, HOW...): Junior year in high school during track season when I was sick of playing soccer three seasons a year.

A TYPICAL TRAINING WEEK: Two days at 9 miles, 1 or 2 track workouts (200-1600m reps)

WHY I RUN: I love competition and improving my race times as well as training for cross country.
PEOPLE MIGHT BE SURPRISED TO LEARN THAT: I've only been running for two years, and I plan on training for the 2004 Olympic Trials at 5000m with my running partner in crime Mike Ward.
