NON-RUNNING HOBBIES OR INTERESTS: What is non-running? I love to
travel and photograph, especially historical sites and the occasional
rural mystery spot (did you know a guy in Nebraska has junked cars
arranged like Stone Henge). I also toil and plod around in my garden.
A FAVORITE BOOK, MOVIE, TV OR RADIO SHOW: The movies: Evil Dead II tops
the list... but Cold Mountain and Spaceballs deserve a nod. If you want
a good cry... rent "House of D". Books: Once a runner and Marathon man
(I read the second by accident, but liked the story so it got tops on
the list).
NICKNAME: Connelly has been standard for the last 10 years... I choose
to ignore all those that came before it.
I STARTED RUNNING: Oswego, NY 1996. Junior year of college, my buddy
got stress fractures in both shins and from there I was hooked.
AVERAGE MILES PER WEEK: 40-50
A TYPICAL TRAINING WEEK: Starting Sunday - easy 30 / distance /
speed/hill workout / easy 30 / distance / easy 20 or off / race. Toss
in the occasional trip to the YMCA for weights and pool 3-4 times a week.
PREFERRED RACE OR RACING DISTANCE: 1/2 Marathons

A GOOD 10K TIME FOR ME WOULD BE: 38 even
WHY I RUN: Its good to have goals in life
